Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with elementary school students, providing speech therapy services that will help them develop essential communication skills, boost their confidence, and foster academic success. This is a full-time position offering both professional growth and the chance to work in a supportive, dynamic school environment.
What You'll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create personalized therapy plans.
- Develop creative, engaging strategies to support students' communication and language development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and progress reports.
- Work in a positive, student-centered atmosphere that encourages learning and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- California state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred but not required.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
