Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time services to our K-5 students for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Communicate progress and strategies with parents and caregivers.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Massachusetts SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with K-5 students in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to diverse student needs.
