Billingual Speech Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the Upcoming School Year

Soliant is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a school district in need for the upcoming school year. As an SLPA in this role, you will work under the direct supervision of an SLP to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech disorders. The director is eager to review applications and conduct interviews for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating communication disorders
- Conducting screenings to identify voice or speech disorders
- Educating students, families and staff about speech disorders, including causes related to disabilities or traumatic events
- Maintaining detailed records of students conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
- Caseload will be based on candidates preference and experience
Experience:
- SLPA experience in school or pediatric setting
- Billingual
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent is required
- Active California SLPA License is mandatory
