Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) fluent in both English and Spanish? We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students in the Camas, WA area! Soliant is now hiring a full-time bilingual SLP for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Position Details:
- Location: Camas, WA
- Position: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Language Requirement: Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Start Date: 2024-2025 school year
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Caseload: K-12 students with a range of speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in both English and Spanish
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Track and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and team collaborations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license in Washington State (or ability to obtain prior to the start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting (preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
