Position Overview: We are currently seeking a full-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) fluent in Spanish to deliver high-quality virtual speech and language services to students in Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting and a passion for supporting diverse learners in achieving their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and conduct individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide engaging virtual therapy sessions in both English and Spanish.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting processes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification in Rhode Island.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and teletherapy technology.
