Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening in TX
Austin, TX
We are currently seeking Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our Salem team for the 2024 school year.
Qualifications:
- Education and Certification: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Texas state licensure or certification to practice as an SLP.
- Experience: Prior experience working as an SLP in a school or educational setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Individual and Group Therapy: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, targeting their specific communication goals.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and stay current with best practices in the field.
