Job Qualifications
Requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Virtual experience preferred but not required
Valid Washington state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
Active state issued educators certification
Must have CCC
Bilingual is Required
VOCO Requirements
Must provide your own liability insurance and be comfortable being an independent contractor
Home computer or laptop with high internet speed
Must pass the basic tech screening

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Personalized Education Plans (IEPs) to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Provide engaging and effective virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to create a thorough support system.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure growth.
- Maintain compliance with Washington state and federal special education guidelines through accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or a related field.
- At least two years of experience working with students with special needs (teletherapy experience favored but not required).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free environment.
