Berkeley, CA
Soliant has partnered with an educational community in Berkeley, CA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year.
Requirements:
- Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Clinical and Rehabilitative Services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- Prior schools experience strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly W2 pay of $48 to $65/hr, dependent on experience

- Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:
- Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
- Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
- Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
- Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
- Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
- In some cases, SLPs may be called upon to supervise Clinical Fellows, student interns (at both the graduate and undergraduate level), and SLPAs
