Position Summary: As an SLP or SLPA, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals.
- Provide training to teachers and staff on communication strategies.
Qualifications:
For SLPs:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure in Maryland.
- CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
- School setting experience preferred.
For SLPAs:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in SLPA program.
- Valid state licensure in Maryland.
- Experience in educational settings preferred.
