Pay: $40-45/hour
Soliant is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our team for a part-time, onsite position in the Lafayette, LA area. This role involves working with students to assess and address their hearing and auditory needs, supporting their academic success.
Job Details:
- Conduct hearing evaluations and provide necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with educators and families to create supportive strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Work with students to ensure that their needs are properly accommodated in an educational setting
- Ensure students receive proper auditory accommodations according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
- Valid Louisiana state licensure as an Audiologist.
- Experience working in a school setting as an audiologist preferred (at least 1 year)
- Experience with related testing and evaluation methods preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
