Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Sealy, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance communication skills and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals and strategies as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights to guide the student’s educational path.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Texas state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
