Position Overview:
Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Bellaire, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create a comprehensive support system for students.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, progress reports, and IEP goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for students’ speech and language needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes student engagement and success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Texas state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred, but Clinical Fellows are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
