Join Our Team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Norfolk, VA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) this upcoming school year for a contract position located near Norfolk, VA. This is an excellent school district with lots of support, wonderful colleagues, and students. Position Overview:
- Location: Norfolk, Virginia
- Caseload: Pre-K through 12th grade students
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site
- Pay Rate: Starting at $45 per hour, based on experience
- Contract Duration: Covering maternity leave
- Assistive Technology Experience: A plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy sessions to address communication needs.
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student success.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Virginia.
- Certification: CCC-SLP preferred, but CFs with strong skills are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Prior experience in school settings is highly valued.
- Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
