School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Tooele, UT
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with a school district in Tooele, UT. This position is available for either part-time or full-time hours, and the role will focus on providing services to Jr. High and High School students. Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 22, 2025
- Location: Onsite only in Tooele, UT
- Hours: Part-time (29 hours) or Full-time (39.5 hours)
- Caseload: Approximately 70 students, working with Jr. High and High School levels
- Support: Collaborative environment with staff and resources
Requirements:
- Must have or be eligible for a Speech-Language Pathologist license in Utah
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a large caseload with varying student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, as well as therapy services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators
- Attend IEP meetings and document student progress
- Provide supervision and guidance to SLPA as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
