Remote Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

Overview:
VocoVision has teamed up with Albuquerque Public Schools to find dedicated full-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for next school year in New Mexico. Candidates must be open to securing their NMRLD and PED licenses and will be responsible for managing caseloads between 40-55 students. This is a great opportunity for independent workers who value flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in a virtual school setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions through online platforms.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to address students' communication and learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active SLP license in New Mexico (CCC-SLP required).
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting.
- Preferred experience with virtual therapy services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable computer with high-speed internet (Chromebooks/tablets not permitted).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Pay Rate: $45-55 per hour (depending on district budget and candidate experience)
