ProCare Therapy has a contract speech language pathologist opening for an excellent school district in Albert Lea, MN. If we find the right candidate to fill the position, they will be renewed for the next school year. New grads are encouraged to apply.
Your Role: Empowering Students to Succeed
- Enhance Communication: Help students develop essential verbal and non-verbal communication skills for classroom success.
- Support Cognitive Development: Assist with memory, attention, and problem-solving to improve learning outcomes.
- Ensure Safe Swallowing: Work with students experiencing swallowing challenges to ensure safety and comfort.
- Provide Communication Tools: Equip non-verbal students with communication boards and speech-generating devices.
- Improve Voice Quality: Guide students in developing healthy pitch, tone, and volume for effective communication.
- Foster Expression: Help students express themselves clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Diagnose & Treat Disorders: Address articulation, fluency, and voice disorders to help students achieve their full potential.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $43–$48, based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Experience: School-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Licensure: Active Minnesota SLP license required (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply!).
