VocoVision is looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a remote, 1099 contract basis. As a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the chance to provide therapy services to students across Alabama. This independent contractor role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote therapy sessions for students with various speech and language disorders.
- Perform evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure smooth communication and effective service delivery.
- Track and report student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical and legal standards in speech-language pathology.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in speech therapy to provide the highest quality care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold an Alabama teaching certificate.
- Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy, particularly in school settings, is preferred.
