Blazerworks is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual services to Blount County Schools in Washington. Location: Oneonta, Alabama
Dates: January 2025 - End of School Year, 2025
Caseload:
- Part Time – 3 days a week for 6 hours a day
- Elementary caseload
- Evaluations and testing
Job Details:
- Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities while working from a remote area.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and difficulties.
- Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and providing input regarding students' communication needs.
- Providing support and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies for promoting communication skills in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CCC-SLP
- Washington State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology.
- Masters in Speech and Language Pathology or Teacher of Speech and Language Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
