Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
Positions: 2 Full-time Positions
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 5, 2025
Caseload: K-12
We are seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our dynamic educational team. These positions will provide speech and language services to K-12 students within the district. As part of the educational team, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders to support their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students K-12 with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as district policies.
Requirements:
- Valid California Single Subject Social Science Credential
- EL Certification (English Learner Certification)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid California state license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and school-based therapy practices.
