Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLPA in your state.
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual therapy and documentation.
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and virtual tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with a remote team and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting virtual speech and language assessments for K-12 students.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP via video conferencing.
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating updates with the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to support student progress.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and supervision sessions.
