Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Frankfort, IL. As an SLPA, you will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide therapy services to students with communication disorders. This position offers a chance to make a positive impact on students’ speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP with speech and language screenings and assessments.
- Provide direct speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement IEP goals and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' communication goals.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Illinois SLPA license.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
