*24/25* Hiring Speech Language Pathologist (CF) Needed in California
Position Overview:
The Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to gain hands-on clinical experience, further develop skills in the evaluation and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to receive mentorship, enhance their professional competencies, and specialize in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs and goals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including educators, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in supervision sessions and clinical meetings to review cases and receive constructive feedback.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and seek professional development opportunities to enhance clinical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Clinical Fellow (CF) status or eligibility to begin CF.
- Membership or in the process of becoming a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as speech/language disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or externship experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience working with diverse client populations
