Job Opening: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Sausalito, CA
ProCare Therapy is pleased to partner with the Sausalito School District to offer a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position for the 2024-25 school year. This role focuses on providing specialized support to Pre-K students using a non-traditional service approach in a low socio-economic community. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support to Pre-K students.
- Implement a non-traditional service approach without IEP duties.
- Serve a low socio-economic student population.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team to meet student needs.
Requirements:
- Must hold active and in good-standing CA SLPA credentials.
- Prefer candidates with school-based experience.
- Share district values: Student-Centered, Fearless, United, Social Justice, and Diversity Driven.
- Align with team values: anti-racist, neurodiversity-affirming, and collaborative.
- Seek a long-term commitment to the district rather than a short-term assignment.
Additional Information:
- Dates: Approximately 8.19.24 - 6.4.25.
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5-40 hours per week, depending on assigned caseload.
- Hourly Rate: $30+ per hour.
