We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and help students enhance their communication abilities. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out virtual assessments to assess speech and language capabilities.
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to assist specific student needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services via virtual platforms.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to produce a cohesive support system for students.
- Take part in IEP meetings and add to goal-setting and planning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of North Carolina.
- Two years of previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Skilled in using teletherapy tools and virtual learning platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently while being a part of a collective team.
