100% Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Job in New Mexico
Las Cruces, NM
We are now interviewing and hiring for a remote speech-language pathologist that can provide virtual therapy services full-time to students in a New Mexico public school.
We are preferably seeking an SLP that lives in New Mexico and is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico, however, we will accept applicants from other states if they are licensed in New Mexico, as well as the state that they reside in.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a Speech and language pathology related study
- New Mexico – Speech Language Pathologist Licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC Certification)
- Prior experience as a remote Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to navigate teletherapy platforms and applications comfortably.
Responsibilities:
- The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide therapy to students virtually via prevention, assessment, intervention, program design, data collection, and data analysis.
- Assist in early recognition and prevention of educational problems and academic failure.
- Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations to determine the need for clinical services.
- Participate in the development of student IEPs.
- Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and others concerning the needs of students and special services that are available.
- Assist teachers in the development and implementation of curriculum modifications and appropriate classroom strategies.
- Provide therapy, follow-up, and/or consultation based on student IEPs.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
